Death Of Me丨AMV |

While creating this video, I placed great emphasis on the pacing, as well as showcasing my own skills and unique style to the fullest extent. The piece falls into the action and drama category. My goal was to evoke various emotional responses from the audience while employing a dynamic yet thoughtfully constructed narrative.

I also paid special attention to incorporating as many anime series as possible — in the end, a total of 23 different anime were used, carefully selected based on mood, visual style, and narrative impact.

The video is 100% my own work, created using Adobe After Effects. Every effect was individually designed and implemented by me. Although I used a few (3–4) self-written scripts for text animations, I developed each scene separately to ensure that the texts perfectly matched the visual environment. These scripts are often rewritten or omitted entirely to achieve a more customized and unique final result.

The color palette also played a key role. I aimed for the tone and color scheme of each scene to harmonize with one another, creating a visually cohesive and balanced experience for the viewer. To achieve this, I used the Lumetri Color tool and applied individual color correction to each scene.

The motion graphic elements – such as lines, shapes, flowers, and the movement of the black paper appearing in the video – were all handmade. I masked, animated, and hand-drew them for each scene to ensure they fully aligned with the composition and emotional atmosphere. I also used various transition effects, such as transitions, Gaussian Blur, and Glow effects, to make the scene changes more expressive and dynamic.

To enrich the sound design of the video, I also added some custom sound effects to certain scenes. For example, the sound of a train passing at the beginning of the video – originally part of an anime opening – as well as the sizzling of neon lights, were all foleyed by me to provide a more realistic and atmospheric experience.

Overall, my goal was to create a technically precise, emotionally impactful, and artistically authentic video that reflects my passion and commitment to video editing.
